New procedures for registration for Regis Term 2, SY 2025-2026

After consultations with student leaders from both the outgoing and incoming Student Councils, we are implementing an improvement on the registration process for Regis Term 2, SY 2025-2026.

To recap, in the last Term we did away with the pre-registration survey, as the response rates were low. In my focus group discussions with the student leaders, I received feedback that the students missed the survey. Thus, it seems the solution is not to eliminate the survey but to increase its response rate. This would give us better data from which to construct the classes to be offered during registration.

We will leverage the solutions we implemented to increase the response rates for the course evaluation survey, which now approach 100%, with communications from the class presidents, Student Council, professors, and the Registrar's Office.

Please note these dates:          

• Survey administration and response: November 8 to 14
• Pre-registration: None
• Registration for Regis Term 2: November 27 to 29
• First day of classes: December 9
