UNITED STATES – The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) of Missouri has offered to help educators whose personally identifiable information may have been compromised in a recent data vulnerability incident. CANADA – The Ottawa French public school board has admitted that ransom was paid to the hackers who breached their computer systems and stole files, including the personal information of students, employees and parents. CANADA — The Catholic District School Board erroneously sent out an email with a link to private information to the parents and guardians of St. Joseph Catholic Secondary School students.
