Ateneo Law posts 99.64% passing percentage in 2020/2021 Bar Exams

Based on the announcement by the Supreme Court on Tuesday, 12 April 2022, the Ateneo Law School ranked first among all law schools that had more than 100 Bar candidates, registering a 99.6429%, passing rate for first-time examinees, and what appears to be a 99.4236% passing rate overall, of the 2020-2021 Bar Examinations held last February 2022.

The Law School also had 100 examinees who have a score of 85% or higher, considered as "exemplary Bar passers" and two examinees who had scores of 90% or higher, considered as "excellent." This was announced by Justice Marvic Leonen, the chair of the 2020-2021 Bar examinations.

In his message to the Ateneo Law School community, Dean Jose Maria G. Hofileña, stated that the release of the bar results "…represents the positive product of all that we as a community have done—from prayers, to reviewers, to words of encouragement—for these, our Ateneo Law bar passers and thus for our Ateneo Law School."
