Apple Eye is Best MKTG 111 Project for the 2nd Semester SY2021-2022

Team Four Marketeers of Larisse Mae Pelayo, Riza Quevada, Macrine Rengel and Rafael Enrique Vicedo was awarded the best Marketing Management (MKTG 111) project for the 2nd semester SY 2021-2022 by the Department of Marketing & Law. The group presented an insightful marketing plan for a home security system under the Apple brand. The team was mentored by Dr. Pindy Mendiola.
The other Final 4 outstanding proposals for the semester are the following:
Kotex Pain Support Supplement, an aid to minimize the pain and discomfort during menstrual periods. The group included Joebelle Alcoriza, Regina Due, Chesca Sarmiento and Annika Tiaoqui, and their mentor Dr. VJ Yamat (Team JARCon)
Nintendo Café, a casual gaming café that allows friends to unwind, collaborate and socialize. The group included Isaiah Gabriel Espino, Camille Valerie Esteban, James Adrian Marcelino, Isabel Therese Marquez, & Patricia Chloe Sioco, and their mentor Ms. Eunice Gan (Nintendo Café Group).
Sunnies Salon, an extension of the brand’s personalized style and accesstyle positioning. The group was composed of Danalee Jae Basiloy, Liam Patrick Co, Joyce Leila Cura, Joshua Ethan Dinio and Kier Dominic Tan, and their mentor Dr. Pindy Mendiola (Team Good Fives).
This semester, MKTG 111 students were tasked to create a marketing plan that extends a current brand name to new product/s in a new category. Sixty eight groups presented their proposals to esteemed Marketing practitioners. The Top 8 teams were declared based on scores given during their defense panel. From this roster, faculty members of the Marketing & Law Department selected the Final 4 teams, including the winner.
Those included in the Top 8 were teams who worked on Netflix Restaurant, Nike Energy Tablet, Vicks VapoBlast and Unilab Maskids Face Mask for Kids.
