CANADA– The names, email addresses, student numbers, and programs of study of about 15,000 students were disclosed to other students when a university sent out an email as part of its career development campaign. NEWS: Ransomware group takes credit for attack on University

AUSTRIA – Ransomware group, Vice Society, claimed responsibility for the cyberattack that significantly interrupted the IT services of the Medical University of Innsbruck, and even may have even resulted in the theft of data. Some of the apps have weak security and privacy features while others contain links to malicious websites (e.g., with malware).
