AJHS welcomes students onsite for 2 days of ‘MAGISing’ orientations

All four batches of current Ateneo de Manila Junior High School students were at the AJHS campus for two days during the week of August 8 to 12, 2022 for their MAGISing orientation sessions for Academic Year 2022-2023. The grades 7 and 10 students were onsite on August 8 and 11, while the grades 8 and 9 boys were onsite on August 9 and 12. Day 1 of the onsite orientations included the MAGISing Mass, the welcome addresses of the Administrative team (A-team), the “Looking Back and Moving Forward” activity of the Guidance & Counseling Office, and messages from officers of the Sanggu-JHS. Day 2 featured a talk by the Cluster Coordinators on the Code of Discipline, a session with each class’ moderator, a presentation of the AJHS’ student organizations, and a campus tour.

Sandwiched between the onsite days was the asynchronous online MAGISing on Wednesday, August 10, where all AJHS students were assigned to watch informational videos from home.  

This year's theme, ENCOUNTER, was palpably actualized in this week-long experience of our beloved AJHS students.
