Calling all #campusjournalists! It's time to write your story!
 

Organized by the Ateneo School of Government Executive Education Program and Ateneo Policy Center, through non-partisan, pro-democracy coalition PARTICIPATE, the application for the #CampusMEDIA: Campus Journalists’ Training on Media Ethics and Democracy in Action is now OPEN!
 

#CampusMEDIA is a four-part training program that seeks to provide participants with an understanding of their power and responsibility as journalists in their campus media platforms, and ground them on ethical media principles which, in turn, will help them navigate contemporary challenges that journalists face. Among the challenges that will be discussed in the training program are the ascendance of social media platforms and the resulting distrust in traditional media, misinformation, and disinformation. Ultimately, the training program aims to help participants deepen their appreciation of the media’s role as the fourth estate and protectors of democracy.
