UGDO Bulletin: April to July 2022

Onboarding and GST for Coaches, Program Managers and Sports Personnel

The onboarding for Coaches, Program Managers and Sports Personnel took place online on May 4, 2022. The session was in cooperation with the University Athletics Office.  Hosting the session were Coach LA Mumar and Coach Jennifer Saret.

This was held onsite in preparation for return to onsite training and competition of student athletes in the different units.

 JHS and SHS Faculty and Staff and Kick off Onboarding and GST Onsite

The Senior and Junior High School took first try at onboarding and GST for their faculty and staff onsite last July 6, 2022 (for SHS) and July 29, 2022 (for JHS) as part of their in-service sessions.  The University Gender Hub, The University Office and Decorum and Investigation as well as the University Gender and Development Office made presentations and took questions from the floor.  Both sessions opted for large, open-air venues in their respective units and practiced social distancing in this first onsite onboarding and gst for the University Decorum and Investigation system.

The session also provided the opportunity to raised issues as students, faculty and staff prepared to return onsite in the next school year.
