ADMU 616569 Foundation renewed its support for the Ateneo Center for Educational Development’s Food Pack Program in an online ceremony held on November 21, 2022. ADMU 616569 will support the distribution of food packs from November 2022 to September 2023 to 100 stunted or malnourished public school children from Marick Elementary School, Cainta, Rizal.

ADMU 616569 is composed of graduates of ADMU grade school batch 1961, high school 1965, and college 1969. Present at the launch were ADMU 616569 Chairman Tito Santos, President Boy de Claro, past Chairman Yoyong Magdaraog, former Chairman Boy Montelibano, and other members of ADMU 616569. The group has been supporting ACED’s feeding program since 2011.

Also in attendance at the virtual launch were Ms. Ruselle E. Villa, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator of Sub Office in Programs and Projects who represented the Cainta Schools District Supervisor, Ms. Gemma Eroles, officer-in-charge of Marick Elementary School as well as teachers, parents, and students from the school. Dr. Carmela Oracion, Director of the Ateneo Center for Educational Development gave the opening remarks while Dr. Leland Joseph Dela Cruz, Assistant Vice President for Social Development, Environment, and Community Engagement gave the closing remarks.

ACED’s Food Augmentation Program seeks to help improve educational outcomes by addressing hunger among public school students. It currently has 5,000 beneficiaries and previous studies have shown that the program has been effective in achieving its intended outcomes.

To support the program, you may purchase ACED Christmas e-cards for a donation of at least P120. P120 is enough to augment the meals of beneficiaries for one week. For more details, you may visit https://tinyurl.com/ACEDChristmas2022. For other inquiries, please email aced@ateneo.edu.
