4 January 2023 Update re: Online Application for Grade 7 SY 2023-2024

Happy new year! Here are some updates regarding the online application for Grade 7 SY 2023-2024:

1. The last exam date for Grade 7 SY 2023-2024 applicants will be on JANUARY 21, 2023. The exam will be held at the AJHS Covered Courts from 7:00-11:30 a.m. All Grade 7 SY 2023-2024 applicants who are still in the system should SUBMIT their applications by January 7, 2023 so they can be included in the listing for this last examination date. The online application period will be closed on January 7, but application forms which were submitted on this date will still be reviewed.

2. Those who were already marked FOR EXAMINATION should choose the only available date (Jan. 21) so they can receive their EXAMINATION PERMIT through Edusuite. If you have not received this permit, email admissions.ajhs@ateneo.edu.

3. ONSITE INTERVIEWS will be conducted starting January 23. The schedule for AGS applicants will be provided by their GLC. Interviews for AGS applicants will be held at the Singson Hall.

Non-AGS applicants will receive a GOOGLE MEET notification through the registered email address as a reminder, but the interview will be held ONSITE at the AJHS campus.

REMINDERS FOR JANUARY 21, 2023:

1. Be at the AJHS campus 20 minutes before schedule.

2. What to bring: Exam permit (OAS copy only, keep the STUDENT COPY for reference) and drinking water. The exam permit will be collected at the exam venue. There will only be short breaks in between test parts, enough for a washroom and water break.

3. What to wear: MASK, Long pants, shirt, socks, rubber shoes

4. Enter the vehicle/pedestrian gate at Gate 3. Present your EXAM PERMIT to the guard so you can be directed to the AJHS campus.

Waiting area for applicants and parents/companions is the AJHS CAFETERIA. The exam venue is at the COVERED COURTS. Examinees will be fetched by the marshals from the cafeteria at 7:00 a.m. and brought back to this area after the exam. Parents/companions can wait here; the rest of the campus is off-limits.

Please be informed that the Loyola Schools ACET (Ateneo College Entrance Test) will be held at the Senior High School classrooms starting at 1:00 p.m. on the same day. Please vacate the area immediately after the Junior High School Entrance Test to avoid being caught in the ingress of vehicles of ACET examinees.
