Bahasa Indonesia courses begin on 15 Feb, study grants available

We are pleased to announce that the registration period for the Bahasa Language courses has been extended up to Monday, 13 February. However, those applying for a study grant should register and submit their application by Saturday, 11 February. The class schedule has also been adjusted to begin starting 15 February. Please refer to the schedule below.

The Bahasa Indonesia language courses are offered by the Ateneo Center for Asian Studies in cooperation with the Indonesian Embassy.

Bahasa Indonesia Basic Level 1  (BIPA 1)
Duration: 15 Feb – 17 May 2023
Class schedule: Wednesdays, 5 to 7 pm
Teaching mode: Online

Bahasa Indonesia Basic Level 2 (BIPA 2)
Duration: 16 Feb to 18 May 2023
Class schedule: Thursdays, 5 to 7 pm
Teaching mode: Online

Bahasa Indonesia for Advanced Learners: Intermediate Level 1 (BIPA 3)

Duration and Schedule: TBA

Advanced learners who are qualified for the intermediate or advanced levels are requested to inform us of their course preferences.  Please email acas.soss@ateneo.edu.

Classes are limited to 25 students.

Study grants covering the tuition fee are available. Applicants who are engaged in activities related to Asian Studies, and in general, Asian society and culture will be given priority. For information about the study grants, please refer to the attachment or go to BahasaStudyGrant2023.

Registration ends on Monday, 13 February, but may be closed sooner when the class size is reached. Admission and study grant notices will be sent as soon as possible.
