CBA Bulletin 8

[ENG] During the mediation meeting at the Department of Labor and Employment today, Friday, 14 April 2023, the Administration and Union panels have concluded the negotiations for the last two years of the 2019-2024 Collective Bargaining Agreement. In effect, the Notice of Strike has been dropped.

With the assistance of DOLE through their facilitation of mediation meetings, the parties mutually agreed on the following items:

1. Wages
   
   1. Definition of new gross pay
   2. Wage increases for Union members
      Year 1: A General Wage Increase of Pesos: Two Thousand (P 2,000.00) per month with a prospective effect beginning from the date that this Agreement is ratified by the Union;
      Year 2: A General Wage Increase of Pesos: Two Thousand (P2,000.00) per month, effective 1 June 2023.
2. A one-time non-recurring lump sum payment of PhP15,000 per Union member
3. Enhancement in the vacation, sick and emergency leave entitlements

Details of the CBA shall be made available to the community at ateneo.edu/cba once it is approved and ratified.

We thank the Administration and Union panels for negotiating diligently to reach a settlement in the interest of the mission of Ateneo.                                       

We also thank the entire community for their continued support and prayers during the negotiation period.

[FIL] Sa mediation meeting sa Department of Labor and Employment ngayong Biyernes, 14 April 2023, natapos ng mga panel ng Administration at Unyon ang mga negosasyon para sa huling dalawang taon ng 2019-2024 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Dahil dito, naibaba na ang Notice of Strike.

Sa tulong ng DOLE sa pag-aayos ng mga mediation meeting, nagkasundo ang mga panig sa mga sumusunod:

1. Sahod
   
   1. Depinisyon ng bagong gross pay
   2. Pagtaas ng sahod para sa mga miyembro ng Unyon
      Taon 1: General Wage Increase na dalawang libong Piso (P2,000.00) kada buwan na nagkakabisa simula sa petsa na ipinagtibay ng Unyon ang Kasunduang ito;
      Taon 2: General Wage Increase na dalawang libong Piso (P2,000.00) kada buwan, simula 1 Hunyo 2023.
2. Minsanan, at hindi-nauulit na lump sum na bayad na PhP15,000 bawat miyembro ng Unyon
3. Pagpapabuti sa mga natatanggap na vacation, sick, at emergency leave
