ASHS poet Toni Riotoc becomes first Filipino to win Master Ink Bowl Award

For her poetry collection “Draped On My Bones,” Toni Riotoc of 12-Holland has been named Master Ink Bowl Award-winner of Ink Bowl Publishing’s 2022-2023 Winter Competition. She is the first poet from the Philippines to win an award in the New York-based competition.

Ink Bowl is an international literature and arts publishing platform for students ranging from high school upperclassmen to those in graduate programs. Its creators have worked with individuals enrolled in top academic institutions from nearly 60 countries.
Toni submitted her poetry collection last February and was announced as one of the Winter Competition’s three winners on April 2, 2023. Her personalized award trophy plaque and letter signed by Ink Bowl’s editor-in-chief will be sent to the Philippines from New York in the coming days.
