Last March 12, Pathways kicked off the 2nd Virtual Corporate Career Academy (eCCA-2) in partnership with Aiducation International and Swiss Re – one of the largest reinsurers in the world.

Director Alain Bernand of Swiss Re HK, Matthias Meier CEO of Aiducation International and Solvie Nubla-Lee Director of Ateneo - Pathways to Higher Education gave opening remarks on behalf of their respective organizations.
This was immediately followed by the sharing of very inspiring and insightful career journeys of Pathways Alum Cee Jhay Castro, now Global Service Experience Senior Specialist at Philip Morris International and Ms. Bing Paraguas – Vice President and Head of HR Strategy & Center for Excellence of Filinvest Development Corporation.

Cee Jhay openly shared the challenges he had to overcome as well as the compromises he consciously made to ensure he still pursued professional growth and personal development while balancing family responsibilities as a breadwinner.
Bing on the other hand, shared what choices she made in charting her career and also generously shared the important lessons she learned along the way which will definitely prove to our Pathways juniors and seniors who are now eager as well as anxious to embark on their own.
The participants then went into their small groups along with their Swiss Re and local mentors to dive into the topic of the day – Career Planning.
The eCCA is a four-week hybrid academy where students go through the modules in their own time with set 1:1 sessions with mentors within the week and have Synchronous Sunday Sessions with the entire group.
We look forward to these next few weeks!
