"Budget and Finance Roadshow" unveils essential budget and financial services for student organizations

Student leaders at Ateneo de Manila University kicked off the new school year with a knowledge-packed event that promises to equip them with crucial financial management skills. The eagerly anticipated Budget and Finance Roadshow, held at the SEC Lecture Hall C, saw the participation of over 90 Finance Officers and Heads of Accredited Student Organizations and Student Publications.

In a first-of-its-kind onsite orientation and workshop in three years, the student leaders engaged in a dynamic session aimed at enhancing their understanding of various OSA Budget and Finance services tailored for student organizations. Led by the seasoned Ms. Julie Manalang, OSA Budget and Finance Officer, the workshop illuminated effective financial management strategies, including adept management of sales and transactions.

Furthermore, the event featured a swift yet informative workshop on the intricate landscape of Ateneo's Accounting policies and procedures. Conducted by Ms. Tina Cabudsan, Accounting Officer of the Central Accounting Office (CAO), this workshop served as a compass to guide student leaders through the complexities of financial governance.

The successful roadshow was collaboratively organized by the Council of Organizations of the Ateneo - Manila, the Office of Student Activities, and the Central Accounting Office. This partnership underscored the institutions' commitment to fostering knowledgeable, responsible, and financially astute student leaders.
