Honoring the life of Dr Alberto "Quasi" Romualdez, Jr, 18 October 2023

The Ateneo School of Government through the Ateneo Policy Center, in partnership with Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Association of the Philippines, will be hosting a memorial lecture for the 10th death anniversary of Dr Alberto “Quasi” Romualdez, Jr. on 18 October 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City.
Dr Quasi served as a Secretary for the Department of Health from 1998 until 2001. He ardently championed for health reforms and sought efficient and accessible healthcare, especially for the poor and marginalized.
The remembrance event seeks to organize a tribute to the life of Dr Quasi, featuring key messages from his family members, friends, and colleagues. The event will also include a lecture focusing on the current state of health human resources in the Philippines.
The event is by invitation only and will be held onsite. Online participation is not available.
