Ateneo Blue Nest-incubated startup Vashcorp signs MOA with DOST-TAPI

On 12 September 2023, Vashcorp, Inc., a startup incubated at the Ateneo Blue Nest, marked a significant milestone by formalizing a strategic government-enterprise collaboration. The company entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Science and Technology – Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) as one of the beneficiaries of the financial assistance program granted by the DOST-TAPI under the Technology Innovation and Commercialization (TECHNiCOM) Program.

Mr Varian Chu, co-founder of Vashcorp, Inc., is a BS Management Information Systems and MS Computer Science alumni of Ateneo de Manila. Mr Chu and his technology called "4Gives" aim to financially empower Filipinos to buy anything that they need while helping merchants and sellers grow through inclusive, fair, and safe credit for everyone. This year-long venture underscores the commitment of both entities to foster technological innovation and drive the successful commercialization of startup technologies.
