The PANAnaw Awards is recognized as the most prestigious intercollegiate brand communications competition since 2004. This year, 24 universities nationwide responded by creating an awareness campaign on “Bridging Gaps Between Education, Social Meanings and Career Opportunities: An Urgent Call for Education Innovation.”
Among the 24 entries, the Top 5 were called to present before an esteemed panel of judges. The jury comprised Metrobank Foundation President Ancieto Sobrepeña, GCash Marketing Vice President Wilfrido De Ocampo, Edukasyon.ph CEO Grace David, Dentsu Philippines CEO JC Catibog, PANA President Adi Timog-Hernandez, LouderPH Partner RG Gabunada, and Senator Francis Escudero.
Ateneo presented a year-long strategy entitled “Pa, Ma, Napag-iiwanan na tayo (PAMANA)” that targets Millennial Filipino parents through digital and physical touchpoints. Utilizing the reach of flash shows, top personalities, household brands, and television, PAMANA educates parents on the education crisis and empowers them to advocate for education innovation through partnerships with NGOs and LGUs. The team was awarded with a trophy, medals, loot bags, and cash prize.
