ASOG MPM-HG alumnae Agbayani, Ysaac attend the 2023 EROPA conference and general assembly

Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) Masters of Public Management (MPM) alumnae Dr Jamie Eloise Agbayani and Dr Marian Frances Ysaac, after extensive screening, were invited to present their Governance Innovation Reports (GIRs) at the 2023 Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA) Conference in Hanoi, Vietnam, from 16-20 October 2023.
Dr Agbayani and Dr Ysaac belong to the Class of 2022 of ASoG's Master in Public Management-Health Governance (MPM-HG) Track. The GIR Is the capstone requirement of ASoG's MPM program.
Dr Agbayani’s paper titled, “Analyzing the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Primary Health Care and the Service Delivery Network in Baguio City” tackled the vital role of LGU’s responsiveness and a strong community engagement in addressing various concerns brought about by the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Dr Ysaac's paper titled “Challenges in the Licensing of Primary Care Facilities in the Davao Region, Philippines” emphasized the political and financial challenges that continue to hamper the licensing procedure of Primary Care Facilities.
The conference placed importance on the attainment of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through good governance, innovations, collaboration, and partnerships of all concerned stakeholders.
