Ateneo de Manila University’s John Gokongwei School of Management and Esade Business School form Jesuit collaboration on digital innovation and management

The John Gokongwei School of Management is launching a collaborative arrangement with the Esade Business School to create an educational opportunity focused on digital business and innovation across Asia and Europe. This novel partnership between two premiere Jesuit management schools offers students with the opportunity to complement their Bachelor’s Degree in management with one of three specialized Master’s degrees in analytics, technology, and innovation delivered in the heart of Barcelona, one of Europe’s leading digital technology hotspots.
This collaboration between Ateneo and Esade signifies the commitment of both academic institutions to provide an exceptional educational experience, equipping students not only with the knowledge essential for success in today's rapidly evolving global business landscape, but also with the Jesuit pedagogical tradition that emphasizes values formation, human development and sustainability as the core motivation for leading change.

Prospective Ateneo students are first expected to complete one of eight JGSOM management degree programs that serves as the foundation for their graduate studies. Through an accelerated application process, JGSOM graduates who successfully pass Esade’s screening process may then take one of the three one-year Master’s degrees offered by Esade Business School: Master of Science in Digital Business (MDB), Master of Science in Business Analytics (MIBA) and the Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MIE). These complementary programs are designed to prepare graduates for leadership roles across diverse sectors, especially technology-driven global enterprises and innovative startups. The Esade MSc curriculums are extremely collaborative, flexible, and globally-focused, with a cohort consisting in 95% international students from around 50 nationalities.
Accelerated Application Program with Esade Business School
Through the new partnership, graduating students of the John Gokongwei School of Management, as well as recent Ateneo de Manila University alumni, are eligible to participate in an accelerated application process to the three pre-selected Esade Master of Science programs starting in school year 2024-2025. Applications for the Esade Master of Science program have opened, offering students the chance to embark on this transformative educational journey.
