Networking Event with Philippine and Spanish Universities

Last 17 November 2023, a networking event between Spanish and Philippine universities was held at the Bernas Center of the Ateneo Law School.

Atty. Jose Maria G. Hofileña, Dean of the Ateneo Law School, welcomed the participants. The Deputy Head of Mission of the Spanish Embassy, Ms. Carmela Barcia, gave the opening remarks. Atty. Lily Freida M. Milla, Director of International Affairs at the Commission on Higher Education also gave her message to the participants. Ms. Beatriz Jimeno, Education Advisor of the Spanish Embassy, was the host of the event. Mr. Jordi Marin Badenes, Technical Advisor of the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education, provided support to the event. Mr. Zoran Novavovici, delegate of the FPP World, also helped facilitate the event.

Spanish universities included Universidad Catolica San Antonio de Murcia, Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid), Universistat Politecnica de Catalunya Barcelonatech, and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

Philippine universities included Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Mapua University, University of San Carlos, and University of the Philippines.
