Ateneo de Manila University and Singapore Management University collaborate to offer more educational opportunities

Ateneo de Manila University's John Gokongwei School of Management (Ateneo JGSOM) and Singapore Management University (SMU) have forged an academic collaboration to offer more educational opportunities in the fields of accounting, finance, management, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Through this partnership, Ateneo de Manila University graduates may apply to pursue advanced degrees at SMU through an accelerated process. These include the Master of Professional Accounting (MPA), Master of Science in Accounting (Data & Analytics) (MSA), Master of Science in Applied Finance (MAF), Master of Science in Quantitative Finance (MQF), Master of Science in Management (MIM), and Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MEI) degrees.

Facilitated by Ateneo JGSOM and SMU’s International Office and schools, this initiative underscores the significance of applying regional perspectives in pursuing future careers in a globally interconnected world. The new partnership celebrates the strength of cross-cultural education, regional networking opportunities and a deeper understanding of business practices across Southeast Asia.  

To support students during their journey, Ateneo students who choose to apply and are successfully enrolled in SMU’s MPA, MSA, MAF, MQF, MIM or MEI programmes can access several financial benefits, including tuition fee discount, waiver of the SMU Admissions Test fee, and additional course exemption discounts per eligible course. Exceptional Ateneo candidates applying for the SMU MPA or MSA programmes may also be awarded the Partner University Scholarships, based on merit.
