Ateneo KSP to grant Korean language scholarships to outstanding Ateneo college students taking a Minor in Korean Studies

The Ateneo Korean Studies Program is pleased to announce that the application for the Search for Outstanding Students Taking a Minor in Korean Studies is now open.
Interested students may apply for a chance to participate in a three-week Korean language training in Seoul, South Korea sponsored by the Konkuk University Language Institute.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ateneo undergraduate students taking a Minor in Korean Studies (MIKS) with a cumulative QPI of at least 3.50
- MIKS students who have already taken at least 6 units of Korean Studies-related courses
- Students with valid passports and who can travel to South Korea during the Intersession 2024
How to Apply:
The following documents must be submitted as one PDF attachment to an email addressed to ksp.soss@ateneo.edu cc ( jabucal@ateneo.edu ) with the email title 2024_MIKS_SOS_(SURNAME)

- Copy of grades
- Copy of valid passport
- A 300-word essay stating how Korean language training is connected to your academic and career goals
Applications will be accepted until April 1, 2024. Those who pass the initial screening will be notified via email on April 3, 2024.
