Ateneo excels in four subjects and two broad subject areas in latest QS World Subject Rankings

The QS World University Rankings by Subject has named Ateneo de Manila University as one of the world’s top universities for the study of four subjects.

Global higher education analyst QS Quacquarelli Symonds recently released the 2024 edition of its QS World University Rankings by Subject. This ranking covers over 16,400 individual university programs, from over 1500 universities around the world.

Here, Ateneo de Manila University ranked high in four subjects. The University’s strongest field was Theology, Divinity & Religious Studies, where it ranked between 101 to 140. This was the first year that Ateneo was ranked in this field.

Ateneo also improved its ranking in English Language & Literature, ranking between 151 to 200, compared to 201 to 250 last year.

Meanwhile, Ateneo ranked between 451 to 500 in Business & Management Studies, and between 201 to 250 in Modern Languages, retaining its ranking from 2023.

In addition to these, Ateneo de Manila University raised its rankings in Broad Subject Areas.

The University ranked between 401 to 450 in Social Sciences & Management and was ranked 325th in Arts & Humanities. Last year, it was ranked between 451 to 500 and 401 to 450 respectively in these Broad Subject Areas.
