ULAS Caravan Pre-registration Now Open

Interested participants for the 3rd leg of the Unified Legal Aid Service (ULAS) Regional Consultations to be held on 17 May 2024 at Ateneo Law School, Makati City may now pre-register by scanning the QR code or clicking the following link: https://tinyurl.com/26rkch4y.
The ULAS Regional Consultations aims to engage various stakeholders to discuss the proposed ULAS Rules, deliberate on key provisions, and gather important inputs to ensure that the final version of the rules will be responsive, effective, and accessible.
The ULAS Rules is the Supreme Court’s latest initiative to institutionalize a legal aid program that carries out the Constitution’s guarantee of access to adequate legal services to all Filipinos. The Rules shall govern the mandatory rendition of pro bono legal aid services by Philippine lawyers in favor of those who are otherwise deprived of access to such services – the indigents and the members of the marginalized sectors.
