Celebrating innovation and excellence: revisiting our journey as poster presenters at the 46th World Hospital Congress in Lisbon, Portugal

Representing our country at the prestigious International Hospital Federation's 46th World Hospital Congress in Lisbon, Portugal, held from 23 to 27 October 2023, was a profound honor and privilege. This global gathering of healthcare leaders and innovators provided an exceptional platform to showcase our governance innovations and their transformative impact on healthcare delivery.

We had the opportunity to present our governance innovation report on healthcare providers' acceptance of the electronic health record and the performance of the pharmacy inventory management system for drugs and medicine at the ‘Amang’ Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center. It highlighted our commitment to pioneering advancements in healthcare management and patient care. We demonstrated how innovative governance practices have elevated efficiency, transparency, and most importantly, improved patient outcomes and service delivery.

As the Ateneo School of Government alumni, our participation underscored our dedication to continuous learning and leadership in healthcare governance. The congress provided us with a unique platform to engage with peers and experts from around the world, exchange ideas and insights, and learn about the latest advancements in healthcare.
