Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) workshop for Higher Education with Mr Johnson Ong Chee Bin

On 28 to 30 May, Mr Johnson Ong Chee Bin, founder and principal consultant of Education Quality International (EQI), an AUN-QA Expert and an official AUN-QA Training Specialist facilitated an OBE Workshop for Higher Education. 43 Faculty-Formators and Administrators of Ateneo de Manila's higher education schools gathered at the Convergent Technologies Center Building (CTC-413) and immersed themselves in learning about how outcomes-based education needs to be viewed from an ecosystem perspective. Participants engaged themselves in experiential learning through interactive exercises, group discussions, and hands-on practice through workshops and presentations. The synthesis session, held online on July 26, provided a fitting summary and guidance on ways to proceed in terms of OBE implementation. The workshop was organized by the Office of the Vice President for Higher Education with the Ateneo School of Government and the Strategy and Quality Management Office.
