Pathways mentors and mentees pose for a group photo
Our mentors, mentees, and volunteers gathered on campus for the culmination of our Trailblazer Mentoring program.

We ended the pilot run of our Trailblazer Mentoring program last 1 September 2024 with our Pathways Batch 17 participants and their volunteer mentors from Cluster Executive Search and our own alumni.

Batch 17 began the year-long journey as college juniors who were navigating school but also starting to think about the career paths they would be taking on soon. With the guidance of their mentors from their industries of interest, they explored big topics such as self-awareness and values, particularly discernment– tools and skills that will guide them in and beyond their careers. They had mentoring sessions throughout the year where they explored possible careers on top of mapping life after graduation.

Now, as seniors, they took stock of what they’ve learned from the guidance of their mentors. They joined their fellow mentees as they set their personal commitments that will help them continue to grow and reach their full potential. Our mentors, too, took the time to look back at the process of nurturing this relationship at the start and the development of their mentees since then.

And after, our mentors were serenaded, performed to, and thanked for their accompaniment in skits and song numbers by their mentees–creative tokens for the time they had shared. While we celebrated lessons learned by both mentors and mentees, we closed the year knowing that this was just the beginning of their next chapter.
