Ateneo de Manila University’s donors gather at the Church of the Gesu for the Benefactors Thanksgiving Mass

On 26 January 2025, the Ateneo de Manila University donors gathered in the Church of the Gesu for the Benefactors Thanksgiving Mass. The Mass was presided by Ateneo de Manila President Fr Roberto C Yap SJ and was concelebrated by Office of University Development & Alumni Affairs (OUDAA) Director Fr Norberto L Bautista SJ and Ateneo Junior High School Chaplain Fr Mamert B Mañus. 

The Office of University Development and Alumni Affairs (OUDAA) organized the Benefactors Thanksgiving Mass to thank donors for their support in advancing the University’s strategic goals.  Fr. Kit also showed a short video of Yugto, the University Scholarship Program for deserving but students in need, and once again knocked on the hearts of Ateneo benefactors during a second collection at Mass. “Nakatutuwa ‘yung readers na scholars!” commented one Mass goer.  “It was a beautiful Mass!” remarked another.

Following the Mass, benefactors and their families were invited for savory snacks at the International Residence Hall IRH Cafeteria by Kraver’s.  It was truly a day well spent with family and Ateneo friends, a day of thanksgiving and generosity.
