Ateneo de Manila University renews partnership with Radyo Katipunan

Ateneo de Manila University renewed its partnership with Radyo Katipunan during a MOA signing ceremony on Friday, 14 February 2025. The MOA was signed by Dr. Benjamin Tolosa, Jr, Vice President for Mission Integration; and by Fr Emmanuel Alfonso SJ, Executive Director of the Jesuit Communications Foundation (JESCOM), which runs Radyo Katipunan. The new Radyo Katipunan Studio at the JESCOM building was also blessed during this occasion.

Under the agreement, the University, through the Office of the Assistant Vice President for Social and Environmental Engagement for Development and Sustainability (OAVP-SEEDS), will help find ways for various university units to engage with Radyo Katipunan. This may come in the form of new content offerings by members of the university community or by helping to boost the various shows the university already has on Radyo Katipunan (a list is shown below). Radyo Katipunan can also help promote university activities.

Aside from operating an FM radio station (87.9 FM), Radyo Katipunan shows can also be viewed online via the Radyo Katipunan Facebook page or the Radyo Katipunan YouTube channel.

5. Seniors on Air Radio with the Ateneo Senior High School Students

Students also serve as DJs as part of the RKada Student DJ program.
