Ateneo de Manila University donates books to Pilar Community College Library

Ateneo de Manila University, through the Rizal Library and the Ateneo de Manila University Press, donated 776 books to the library of Pilar Community College on Friday, 7 March 2025.
Mayor Caroline C Sy-Reyes of Pilar Sorsogon made the request for book donations to Fr Roberto Yap SJ, Ateneo de Manila University’s President. The Rizal Library and the Ateneo de Manila University Press eagerly put together books for donation. These books were received by Mr. Elpidio A. Sisneros of Pilar Community College’s Office of Student Affairs and Services.
Pilar Community College was established two years ago and offers a Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) major in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The donated books will help the College fulfill CHED requirements for college libraries.
