AJHS mathletes bag 31 medals in PhIMO 2025 Heat Round

Representing the Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS) and Junior High School (AJHS), 31 past and present AJHS mathletes brought pride to the community by earning an impressive 5 gold, 10 silver, and 16 bronze medals at the Philippine International Mathematical Olympiad (PhIMO) Heat Round 2025, held online on 6 April 2025.

Mathletes in the Junior Secondary and Secondary 3 categories were coached by Mrs. Susan Robles, while those in the Primary 6 division were mentored by Mr. Javy Inumerable and Mr. Omar Ajon.
The Philippine International Mathematical Olympiad (PhIMO) is recognized as one of the most prestigious international mathematics competitions for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. It aims to celebrate and challenge young mathematical minds from around the world, while fostering cultural exchange through friendly competition.
The PhIMO Final Round 2025 is set for 19–22 September 2025 in Cebu. The examination will be held on 20 September, both online and on-site at the Cebu Institute of Technology – University Atrium, followed by the Awards Ceremony on 21 September at JPark Island Resort & Waterpark in Lapu-Lapu City.
As in previous years, participants from various countries and territories—including Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam—are expected to take part.
