AGS' Luc Lopez earns dual Outstanding Awards in Science and Math at ADEPT Olympiad’s PH round

Ateneo de Manila Grade School student Luc Lopez (4–Sikatuna) earned Outstanding Citations in both Science and Math in the Grade 3 category of the ADEPT (Achievement in Diverse Educational Progress and Talent) Competition Olympiad – National Round. ADEPT’s national round was held online on 29 June 2025, a month before School Year 2025–2026 began.
The "Outstanding" citation is awarded to the top 5% of national round participants, and ranks above the Gold Award in terms of performance recognition at the national level.
The ADEPT Competition Olympiad is a topic- and project-based international competition aimed at developing students’ subject mastery alongside essential 21st-century skills. With a focus on reasoning over memorization, the competition promotes future-ready competencies in STEM and business.
The ADEPT Competition Olympiad is conducted across 18 countries and regions, including Canada, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, South Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Macau, and Hong Kong.
