Sam Dionisio wins Outstanding in Math and Gold in English at ADEPT Olympiad’s PH round

Two Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) students earned recognition in the ADEPT (Achievement in Diverse Educational Progress and Talent) Competition Olympiad – National Round, held online on 29 June 2025, a month before School Year 2025–2026 began.
Sam Dionisio (12–Anchieta) achieved two major honors: an Outstanding Award in Math and a Gold Medal in English. The "Outstanding" citation is awarded to the top 5% of national round participants, and ranks above the Gold Award in terms of performance recognition at the national level.
Cyan Blanca (11–Wright) was also recognized, earning a Silver Medal in English. Both Dionisio and Blanca competed in the Grade 11 division.
The ADEPT Competition Olympiad is a topic- and project-based international competition designed to enhance students’ subject knowledge and develop critical 21st-century skills in STEM and business. It emphasizes reasoning over memorization and is held across 18 countries and regions, including Canada, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, South Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Macau, and Hong Kong.
