06 Nov 2025
Last 28 October 2025, the Ateneo School of Government (ASOG) through the Ateneo Policy Center (APC) hosted an online brown bag session featuring the preliminary insights of the research project on the determinants of election-related violence in the Philippines. This project is supported by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Philippines.
Over 120 participants from various universities, election watchdog organizations, and government agencies attended the event and shared their perspectives on the results. The ongoing research project is led by Dr Imelda B Deinla, APC Senior Research Fellow, and Dr Robin U Garcia, Faculty at ASOG, and supported by APC researchers Gaby Mendoza and Kier Ballar.
The full report will be released as a working paper by the end of the month.
