Proudly Filipino: AJHS’ Mr Brian Aljer Coballes claims victory in SEAFDEC logo competition

Ateneo de Manila Junior High School's Educational Media Center (EMC) Coordinator, Mr Brian Aljer "BA" Coballes, was announced on 20 November 2025 as the winner of the SEAFDEC 60th Anniversary Logo Design Contest—besting participants from Cambodia, Thailand, Brunei, and several other Southeast Asian countries.
SEAFDEC — the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center — is a regional intergovernmental organization with its secretariat headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand. It is dedicated to advancing sustainable fisheries across Southeast Asia through research, training, and international collaboration.
Mr Coballes’ winning logo will be featured in SEAFDEC’s official 60th-anniversary events, publications, and communications. This achievement is not only a proud moment for AJHS, but also a victory for the Philippines, showcasing the creativity and excellence of Filipino designers on a regional stage.
