Supported by the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG), 102 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) completed in November the Ateneo Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (ALSE) Overseas Filipinos' Leadership, Innovation, Financial Literacy, and Social Entrepreneurship (OF-LIFE) program, where they deepened their skills in business development, financial literacy, leadership, and social entrepreneurship.

Through the ASoG Executive Education program, 43 participants based in Brunei Darussalam under Batch 143 and 59 participants located in Hong Kong under Batch 142 underwent a six-month training course that required full-day weekend classes, online coursework, and the development of social enterprise business plans designed to support their reintegration and long-term financial stability.
ASoG Dean Dr. Jennifer S. Oreta, who served as keynote speaker for both ceremonies, emphasized the transformative role of leadership and financial literacy in empowering OFWs. “Sa mga biyayang natanggap natin, ibalik natin ito sa pamamagitan ng pagtulong sa kapwa [For the blessings we have received, let us give back by helping others]. In the Ignatian tradition, let us all be companions in public service.”
The ALSE OF-LIFE is a non-degree certificate course implemented by a migration and development consortium composed of ASoG, the Overseas Filipinos’ Society for the Promotion of Economic Security (OFSPES), the Social Enterprise Development Partnerships, Inc. (SEDPI), and the UGAT Foundation.
