Representing the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) student Chloe Galamgam (12-Arnaiz) achieved an outstanding performance in the 7th Philippine International Memory Sports Championship 2025, held on 20 September 2025 at La Salle Green Hills.
A dedicated Philippine Memory Team athlete, Chloe competed in the Adults Division for the first time and secured 2nd Place Overall at both the National Level (trophy) and the International Level (silver medal)—a distinction made possible by her remarkable haul of eight silver medals and four bronze medals across a wide range of memory disciplines.
Aside from the Silver Medal for Overall 2nd Place in the International Level Adults Division, her other silvers were for Marathon Cards, Marathon Numbers, Spoken Numbers, 15-Minute Random Numbers, 5-Minute Random Words, 5-Minute Binary Numbers, 10-Minute Random Cards, and 5-Minute Names and Faces. Her bronze medals were earned in Speed Cards, 5-Minute Historic Dates, 5-Minute Random Images, and 5-Minute Speed Numbers.
Chloe and her teammates competed against memory athletes from India, Mongolia, Indonesia, and Australia in the tournament which was organized by the Philippine Mind Sports Association (PMSA), sanctioned by the Global Alliance of Memory Athletics (GAMA) and the Asia Memory Sports Alliance (AMSA), and supported by The Brain Republic and La Salle Green Hills.
This year’s achievement follows Chloe’s strong performance last year at the Asia Open Memory Championship 2024, held in September 2024 in Singapore, where she won seven Gold Medals, three Silver Medals, and one Bronze Medal. Among her gold-medal victories was the prestigious title of International Overall Champion in the Juniors Division.
Chloe’s continued excellence in international memory sports stands as a testament to her discipline, skill, and commitment to growth—an inspiration to her fellow Ateneans and a proud achievement for the Philippines.
