The Department of Mathematics invites the university community to join us in praying for the repose of the soul of
† PROFESSOR QUEENA N LEE-CHUA, PhD
April 13, 1966 - November 26, 2025
Dr Queena Lee-Chua, Professor, taught and served in the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Psychology from 1987 to 2025.
She was a proponent of problem solving in mathematics from the basic education to college levels, a mental health advocate, a good listener, columnist, writer, and an outstanding teacher with a larger-than-life presence both inside and outside the classroom.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Smith and son Scott.
Her urn can be viewed from December 5 (Friday) to December 8 (Monday), 10 am to 9 pm
at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception (College Chapel).
Daily masses will be at 6:00 pm, live streamed at fb.com/admumath
Eternal rest grant unto Queena, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
