Student leaders gather for 2025 budget and finance roadshow

On 4 August 2025, Student organization finance officers gathered for this year’s Budget and Finance Roadshow, held at SEC Lecture Hall C. The annual event aimed to equip accredited student organizations with essential knowledge on university financial processes, budgeting, and accountability. The orientation was facilitated by the Office of Student Activities’ Budget and Finance Team, Ms Julie Manalang and Mr Ronnel Ojas, who walked participants through the OSA Budget and Finance services available to student organizations. Their session guided student leaders on the proper handling of organizational sales, transactions, and financial documentation. 

The roadshow also featured Ms Tina Cabudsan, Accounting Officer from the Central Accounting Office (CAO), who conducted a concise workshop on Ateneo’s accounting policies and procedures. Her presentation provided clarity on required forms, timelines, and internal controls to help student leaders manage their finances responsibly. A short orientation on the use of the Student Activities Payment System (SAPS) was also discussed conducted by Mr Joie Matamis IT Consultant from the Digital Information and Technology Services cluster (DITS). The event was a collaborative effort of the Office of Student Activities (OSA) and the Central Accounting Office (CAO), reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting student organizations through capacity-building and transparent financial practices.
