Spreading Joy and Hope: ACED's Christmas Miracle
26 Jan 2026 | Jhoel Loanzon, Feeding Program Supervisor, Ateneo Center for Educational Development
In the spirit of the Sto Niño - symbol of childlike trust and hope - the Ateneo Center for Educational Development (ACED) extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported the project, "ACED Christmas e-cards: Make a difference this Christmas by giving a card that gives."
What began as a fundraiser through e-cards has now become a lifeline for 270 public school children. Through ACED's Food Augmentation Program, the Christmas e-cards campaign has helped ensure that these children come to school healthier, and better prepared to learn. Because of the generosity of donors, families who struggle to meet daily needs now have renewed hope.
While the Christmas lights may have dimmed, the call to compassion continues. With PHP 125 a week, PHP 500 a month, or PHP 3,750 for 30 weeks, you can continue to nourish a child's health, learning, and well-being. Together, we can turn small acts of kindness into lasting impact.
