TakBLUEhan 2026: running with faith and hope
23 Jan 2026
Held last Sunday, January 18, 2026, Ateneo de Manila Grade School’s TakBLUEhan fun run brought together more than 1,500 parents, students, faculty, and staff in a spirited celebration of fitness, community, and shared purpose. In his opening remarks, AGS Headmaster Mr. Jervy Robles highlighted this year’s theme, “Run with Faith and Hope,” encouraging participants to persevere and press on until the finish line—both in the race and in life.
Now on its 13th run, TakBLUEhan further solidifies AGS’s identity as a true running community. Through the years, the event has continued to be guided by our race director, Coach Igor Quodala, whose vision helped transform AGS’s dream of becoming a running community into a beloved and enduring tradition.
This Ateneo Grade School Class Officers Movement (AGSCOM)-led activity was made possible through the invaluable support of the Faculty Development Office, the Athletics Office, and the Office of Student Activities.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to the generous sponsors who helped make this year’s run a success: A-List Custom Clothing, Agua Vida, Anytime Fitness, GCash, GetBlued, Mama Sita’s Food Corporation, McDonald’s Corporation, Milo, OFF!, OSH!, PayMongo Philippines, Inc., Rebisco, School Bus Clothing, and Universidad.
Truly, TakBLUEhan continues to be a joyful reminder that as one community, we run together—guided by faith, fueled by hope, and strengthened by one another.
