₱2.2M turned over to strengthen PNoy Scholarship Endowment

Kiko Aquino-Dee and Gerry Esquivel (AHS ’77) formally turned over ₱2.2 million to Ateneo de Manila University on 5 February 2026, coursed through University President Fr Roberto C Yap SJ, to further build the Benigno Simeon C Aquino III Scholarship Endowment, established in honor of the late former President Benigno Simeon C Aquino III, whose birthday falls on February 8.

With this contribution, the endowment has reached ₱24 million, enabling support for four full undergraduate scholars. The fund, established in 2022 by PNoy’s family and friends—including his Ateneo High School Class of 1977 and College Class of 1981—is dedicated to assisting academically gifted but financially challenged students, particularly those from outside the National Capital Region.
