With the theme “Agham na Ramdam,” AGS successfully celebrated Math, Science, and Technology (MST) Week from 26-30 January 2026. The celebration was both engaging and meaningful, highlighting curiosity, creativity, and innovation in action through a diverse range of activities. By offering students exciting opportunities to explore the fascinating worlds of mathematical patterns, scientific principles, and technological concepts, the week was perfectly aligned with the theme's core message, focusing on the practical and tangible application of these fields and helping students understand and feel the presence of Math, Science, and Technology in their daily experiences.
Through a diverse range of activities, students explored the fascinating worlds of mathematical patterns, scientific principles, and technological concepts. More than just a showcase of knowledge, MST Week embodied the theme’s core message—emphasizing the practical and tangible applications of these disciplines and helping students recognize and experience the presence of Math, Science, and Technology in their everyday lives.
A standout feature was the interactive library exhibit, which beautifully merged art and geometry. Students actively participated in creating a stunning leaf tessellation mural by coloring and assembling leaf cutouts. The K-6 students further developed their understanding of symmetry, shapes, and spatial skills through hands-on activities like designing images with pattern blocks and crafting intricate geometric string art. The exhibit also showcased students' learning in science and technology, highlighting neat Grade 2 terrariums, informative posters, and a display case featuring various robots.
Adding to the excitement was the trivia contest, easily accessible via Google Forms through their respective MST Google Classrooms. This provided a stimulating way to challenge students' knowledge across Math, Science, and Technology. Furthermore, a lively book fair contributed to the festive atmosphere, offering a curated selection of MST-related books alongside fun educational toys and gadgets such as Rubik’s Cubes and other brain-teasers. There was also an Adopt-a-Butterfly booth which served as a way for the community to know more about the life cycle of butterflies and how to take care of them.
In conclusion, MST Week 2026 was a significant success! It effectively inspired students to explore, create, and think critically, providing a fantastic platform to celebrate the enduring relevance and excitement of Math, Science, and Technology in their everyday lives.
