Building A Better World: Exploring Careers That Make A Difference
The Ateneo Grade School proudly observes Career Guidance Week. This week-long celebration highlights the significant role of career education in guiding students toward self-discovery and preparing them for future success.
As we celebrate the theme, “Building a Better World: Exploring Careers That Make a Difference,” remember that your future career is not just about what you will do; it is about who you become and how you help others. Everything begins with your values, the important things you believe in and care about, such as helping people, being creative, solving problems, or protecting the world around you. Your values guide your choices and shape your future. The career you choose begins with what is important to you. As you explore your dreams and discover your strengths, may you continue to grow, learn, and use your talents to make a positive difference.
This year’s Career Guidance Week aims to provide venues for students to explore the various professions and foster awareness of their interests and abilities, develop a positive attitude towards learning and skills in pursuing their passions, and appreciate the importance of nurturing their educational paths leading to fulfilling future career choices. Hence, the event serves as an avenue for young Ateneans to explore their aspirations while being guided toward meaningful and fulfilling future choices.
Through various engaging activities, Career Guidance Week also seeks to support the gradual development of the 5 Cs—Competence, Conscience, Compassion, Commitment, and Christ- Centeredness—essential qualities that will prepare students for their future professions. These activities encourage learners to reflect on their educational journey and recognize the importance of nurturing their academic growth in alignment with their aspirations.
As we celebrate Career Guidance Week, the Ateneo Grade School remains steadfast in its mission to inspire and equip its boys and girls with the knowledge, values, and skills they need to shape a promising and purpose-driven future.
Together, let us support our students’ career aspirations and explorations for a better world!
