Reimagining higher education in an AI-driven future

As artificial intelligence continues to transform learning environments, institutions are increasingly exploring how higher education can adapt to remain relevant and future-ready. The SEAMEO INNOTECH participated in a roundtable discussion titled “Reimagining Higher Education in an AI-Driven Ecosystem,” held on 17 March 2026 at Ateneo de Manila University.

Representing the Centre, Majah-Leah V. Ravago joined academic leaders and experts in examining how universities can evolve amid rapid technological change. The discussion focused on aligning education systems with emerging AI trends while ensuring that innovation advances inclusive, ethical, and learner-centered approaches.

Through collaborative dialogue, the roundtable highlighted the importance of preparing institutions, and learners, for a future in which artificial intelligence plays a central role in shaping knowledge, skills, and societal development.
