[AGS] Feast of our Lady of the Rosary (7 October)

From 7 to 10 October 2025, Ateneo de Manila Grade School celebrates in a special way the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary with the theme, "Mary, Mother of Hope, pray for us!"

As the entire Catholic Church continues to celebrate this special Jubilee Year of Hope, the late Pope Francis reminds the faithful of the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary in our lives. She is our reminder of how we are invited to stay close to Jesus and imitate Him in all our words and deeds, despite the difficulties and challenges we encounter in our lives.

In the recent Papal Bull of the Ordinary Jubilee Year of Hope, Pope Francis writes, "I am confident that everyone, especially the suffering and those most in need, will come to know the closeness of Mary, the most affectionate of mothers, who never abandons her children and who, for the holy people of God, is “a sign of certain hope and comfort.”

As we continue to pray to God through meditation on the joys, light, sorrows, and glories of Jesus and Mary through the holy rosary, may we truly "imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise."
