Bringing government services closer to the Ateneo community: Government Services Caravan

On Monday, 6 October 2025, employees of Ateneo de Manila University were able to access a number of government services in the comfort of the campus. This was made possible via the Government Services Caravan: One Stop. Save Time. Get It Done. – an initiative organized by the Employee Engagement Section of the Office of the Vice President for University Human Resources under its banner program "Bringing Connection and Care to Every Employee."
The one-day event brought together key government agencies—including Pag-IBIG Fund, PhilHealth, Land Transportation Office (LTO), Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), and Quezon City Government Services—to provide employees with convenient, on-campus access to essential public services. From securing new and renewed IDs, updating of records, enrolling in savings programs, and inquiring about loans and memberships, bringing together these government agencies during the caravan made it easier for Ateneo employees to complete their transactions without the usual long lines and even taking a day of leave from work.
The event also highlighted the spirit of collaboration between Ateneo and its government partners—working hand in hand to make government services more accessible, efficient, and people-centered.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participating agencies and to the Ateneo community for their warm participation and cooperation. With the success of this first run, the University looks forward to hosting another round of the Government Services Caravan soon.
