Call for Applications: Two Academic Program Assistants

Position Title:  Academic Program Assistants

As a graduate school for leadership and public service, ASOG's academic and executive education programs bridge the gap between the classroom wisdom and real-world policy decision-making and governance. Through its research and extension programs, and its work with public, private and community organizations, ASOG aims to develop and foster innovative ideas and approaches in order to change mindsets and systems in such areas as leadership, poverty eradication, climate change, social accountability, and politics.

Tasks and Functions

The Academic Program Assistant is expected to perform the following tasks:

• In coordination with other members of the Academic Program, contribute to the efficient and effective planning, rollout, closing and evaluation of regular and customized MPM programs.
• Assist the Academic team in coordinating with faculty, teaching associates/assistant for the scheduling and rollout of the classes and implementation student enrichment activities;
• Coordinate the logistics, administrative and financial arrangements for the rollout of classes
• Assist the Academic Team on documentary requirements/students requests.
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the Academic Program Head

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any management, or social science degree
• At least 2 years of work experience (familiarity in the academic setting  specifically Ateneo de Manila education system is an advantage)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Suite. Graphics presentation skills is an advantage;
• Self-management, as evidenced by the ability to deliver outputs with minimum supervision;
• Good English communication skills, oral and written;
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
