Call for Letters of Intent: New Rizal Library Café Operator (UBAO memo)

The Ateneo de Manila University cordially invites qualified and reputable food service providers to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the operation of a café on the ground floor of the New Rizal Library, located at the Loyola Heights Campus in Quezon City.

This initiative forms part of the University's ongoing efforts to enhance the campus experience by offering a refined and welcoming dining environment that supports the academic and cultural life of the Ateneo community. The envisioned café shall serve as a premium space for nourishment, collaboration, and relaxation for students, faculty, staff, and guests.

Scope of Opportunity

1. Location: Ateneo de Manila University, New Rizal Library, Loyola Heights Campus, QC
2. Target Launch: 2026 onwards
3. Clientele: University students, faculty, administrative staff, and visitors
4. Concept: Café concept with alfresco dining.

Interested parties are expected to:

1. Demonstrate a strong track record in managing upscale food and beverage operations;
2. Present a diverse, health-conscious, and high-quality menu;
3. Uphold principles of sustainability, ethical sourcing, and environmental responsibility;
4. Propose a design and service concept that aligns with the University's values of excellence, integrity, and community;
5. Provide proof of the ability to make the necessary capital investments for the appropriate leasehold improvements for a 260sqm area plus a 94sqm al-fresco area.

Submission Requirements

Interested parties are requested to submit the following:

1. A formal Letter of Intent
2. A Company Profile highlighting relevant experience as well as existing outlets
3. An Initial Concept Proposal outlining the envisioned food offerings (menu with initial prices).
